Birthing Your Business
QUOTES I LIVE BY
The beginning stages when working on a project is the best part. One idea to the next, it builds cohesively painting an image that wouldn't have developed if the initiative wasn’t taken. I firmly believe in common sayings, “You reap what you sow” or “What you‘ve done to others will be done to you,” – committing this to memory helped me understand the basic forms of life.
MY LOVE FOR MIGOS
Recently seen on Twitter was one of the world’s famous Hip Hop group, Migos. Their first live performance looked hideous: sharing one mic on a 2-foot tall stage, and people standing around like zombies. Of course most people were hesitant since Migos was a startup, but seeing the group's success now is a major inspiration to me. Since 2009, it took shortly five (5) years to release their debut album. With that said progress is key and so is consistency.
WHERE I STAND AS A NON-PROFIT BLOGGER
As an independent creator the question I get asked often is “How will you make money from your blog?” Laughing inwardly I subconsciously delete people who ask me this. Creating SMN blog was never for monetary items, but for satisfaction giving others hope, encouragement, a fresh perspective, and inspiration.
"Good things take time. Great things take discipline. To be the best takes patience."
Building relationships is the motive. If you’ve met me you most likely you’ve heard me state this. Top testimonies from the world’s best bloggers are that it takes minimum five (5) years to grow a business from its infancy stages. And I agree, good things take time. Great things take discipline. To be the best takes patience.
